This is definitely a favorite store. They have everything and at fair prices with great sales. Unfortunately I had an unpleasant experience with two young women recently. They entered the store through the doors next to a sign with large letters clearly stating "No Animals Allowed." The one girl proceeded to put a large overweight chihuahua in their cart, so I approached them and said animals were not allowed and, that inside the cart was offensive as shoppers put their food inside them. The one girl said it was a Service animal , obviously a lie. The second girl decided to yell at me--no exaggeration-- in Spanish, obviously expletives. She yelled towards the middle of the store to purposely get attention from other customers. It looked very uncouth and low class. I told the manager which was all I could do at that point, I hope these young women realize they are not entitled.

convenient market in the heart of redwood shores' the marketplace...i'm told this used to be raley's a brand i know well from living and traveling around northern california. although a bit pricier than other supermarkets, nob hill is extremely organized, and aisles are always neatly laid out, products stacked well, making it easy to find what i need. i can always find the basics, eggs, meat, dairy, produce, fruits, veggies. they even have a great selection of alternative meat (veggie meat) for vegetarians like myself! the self check line is great, making it super quick and easy for me to get what i need and get on my way. plenty of parking at the shopping center.

Anyone who knows me, knows how much I love a good supermarket deli sandwich. It's often an affordable option that's gonna have you full, and that was the case here at Nob Hill. I was meeting a friend before heading out to Levi's and after not wanting to deal with the long lines at Starbucks and Bagel St, we opted for a deli sandwich from here instead. No line and we were in n out in 10 minutes. They had a solid selection of pre-crafted sandwiches and I decided to go with one of the turkey ones. Nothing about this sandwich was standout, but damn it tasted so dang good. It looked small at first, but it was pretty filling. They stacked the sandwiches , the veggies were fresh, and it's a reminder that sometimes simple is all you need. I got the sandwich for under $10 and was satisfied. This is owned by the same folks at Raley Supermarkets and pricing for things were closer to Safeway than Whole Foods. The store itself was super clean, well organized, and had a great selection of beers and seltze
